Andrew Bird x Jay Ryan

I recently delivered these striking prints designed by Jay Ryan for the Andrew Bird and the Mysterious Production of Eggs 20th Anniversary Orchestral Tour with Britten Sinfonia at the Barbican Hall, London. We’ve worked before on a collaboration with Jay (aka @TheBirdMachine) when as APG works we did the June 2024 posters for The Breeders European Tour. One of the foremost gig poster creators in the US, Jay is a pastmaster at using a brilliant palette of translucent inks to get a range of colours that is several more than the five we laid down. Combined with his distinctive and appealing graphic style, they are lovely posters and have pride of place in the studio portfolio. It’s a great privilege to have this production entrusted to the studio.

A sell-out, by all accounts the gig at the Barbican Hall on Saturday night was a great success and I wish I could have stayed down in London an extra night to see it!
